The medal was establishedin April 1920 for award to members of the Territorial Force and TerritorialForce Nursing Service who volunteered for service overseas on or before 30September 1914, and served overseas. It is die struck from bronze and has a very slightly antiqued and polished bronze finish. Supplied with an original period length of the correct ribbon.

This replacement British medal is a high quality specimen being die struck from steel dies and having all the detail of theoriginal. It is NOT a lead casting like so many other examples being offered.

Because it is die struck from solid hard metal, this medal CAN be engraved around the rim with the recipients details. Please note that we do NOT offer this service, but if you take it to a competent engraver they should be able to do this for you.
