For your consideration is this classy handsome Gillette ABC Safety RazorThis is the single ring shell design with the larger sized ball end in beautiful gold plating. Although the photos and video show it pretty clearly, it is even more beautiful in your hands. As usual, these shave wonderfully and are an incredible part of U.S. Mfg. history.A very handsome blend of artful design as well as a very practical and effective shaving tool, these Gillette razors were made in cooperation with the American Button company back then who assisted Gillette in the castings for these incredible razors. The serial number is tricky to read because of wear, but appears to be a 1911 edition.
The handle thread is excellent, so it does fit and tighten very snugly to the head, which is not always the case with these antique razors. The first few threads are wobbly, but does not affect the assembly at all.
