History

Thutmose III (1425 BC) was the sixth pharaoh of the Eighteenth Dynasty, and is considered the founder of the modern Egyptian Empire at that time. This empire remained until about 1070 BC until the reign of Ramses XI.
His military career
Tuthmosis III took care of the army, made it regular, and provided it with knights and chariots. Also, during his reign, the ancient Egyptians mastered the manufacture of arrows and arrows thanks to him. Unlike the reign of Thutmose, at the time when Hatshepsut was ruling, she followed a peaceful policy with the areas of Egyptian influence in Palestine and Nubia and with its neighbors, and she cared for the navy and sent naval expeditions to the country of Punt and to the coasts of Lebanon for trade exchange. She took advantage of some protectorates in Syria and Mitanni to rebel against Egyptian rule. As soon as Thutmose III ascended the throne after the death of Hatshepsut, he had to restore Egyptian control over those areas to secure the country’s borders. Thutmose launched sixteen military campaigns against Asia (the region of Syria and Palestine), through which he was able to establish his influence there, just as he established Egypt’s influence as far south as Nubia.
The prince of the city of Kadesh in Syria was leading an alliance of the princes of the Asian countries in the Levant against Egypt. Their number reached twenty-three armies, and it was expected that Thutmose III would support his defenses and his forces on the Egyptian border near Sinai, but Thutmose decided to go with his huge armies to confront these armies in their lands within The plan to expand the Egyptian Empire to the greatest possible extent and secure the borders against the armies of harassers.
Before Tuthmosis III secured the country and invaded neighboring countries to prevent their attack on Egypt, he took care of the affairs of managing that vast country that extends from the current western borders of Iraq and northern Syria to the south along the course of the Nile River south to the Fourth Cataract in present-day central Sudan. He appointed for each of those countries outside Egypt a governor from Egypt to rule them and secure the country. The governor is assisted in governing the country by administrative officers and clerks. The governor was also responsible for supplying the Egyptian army forces stationed there, as well as collecting tribute from the population. The governor was the head of the princes of that country.
When a rebellious movement broke out in one of the provinces, the governor would put it down using the Egyptian soldiers residing with him, without having to seek permission from the King of Egypt. Unless the rebellion is widespread, he seeks help from the Pharaoh of Egypt, who provides him with additional forces, or goes to him himself at the head of a major campaign to put down the rebellion.
After the rule of Thutmose III, the expanding Egyptian empire remained under the rule of caliphs for about 400 years. Many of Thutmose III's successors who ruled Egypt and ruled those conquests married the daughters of princes and the daughters of kings of neighboring countries in order to maintain peace between the countries, including Amenhotep IV, Ramesses II, and others.
