This at least 148 year old Jar is in Excellent Condition with No Cracks No Crazing NOTE: there are two chips on the inner ring of the lid that you have to remove the lid to see(See pictures with pen). Very nice Tongzhi Chinese Porcelain Jar with lid. A beautiful early 19th. Century Chinoiserie jar that is hand decorated with rich enamels. The round body has two large Phoenix birds on a white background with green foliage and pink mums. The pattern carries over to the lid which has a three leaf finial. Free-style spurious red hand painted four character reign mark on underside \'indicating\' this was made 1861-1875, Tongzhi reign (1861–1875) of the Qing dynasty.
These measure 6\" High x 4 1/2\" Wide rim to rim. I have provided a lot of pictures to best describe the condition of this Jar.
