Great 21 1/2\" x 12 1/2\" photo (in its original 88+/- year old frame) of U.S.S. Vestal, U. S. Navy repair ship famous for its action during the attack on Pearl Harbor, 7 December 1941 while moored alongside U.S.S. Arizona.
This photo shows officers & crew posing for a typical photo of that period on the forecastle several years (dated 1934 in the center of the life ring) prior to December 7th. The ship seen alongside of Vestal appears to be a new Northampton class heavy cruiser.
Please, DISREGARD the SUN\'s REFLECTIONS through the glass; is was unavoidable.
