This is a batch of 800 or more photographs (a number of which have accompanying paperwork) from the early 1970s, material that came from the archives of a magazine that celebrated the collectors of antique photographica as well as their individual collections (Graphic Antiquarian). There are all kinds of photos here, but most of the photos fall into 4 categories:1) photos of camera collectors and/or their collections, including convention photos2) photos of cameras and ephemera that were antique at the time
3) reproductions of 19th century images4) a minority of other images we found in this collection but cannot specifically identify the subjects, locations, etc.
If you are a historian of the hobby of vintage photographica, this collection is the kind of archive that will probably never again come to market. Most photos are 8x10 inches, but some are smaller.
