This is cool French figural case with the multiple tone going and a good piece from the 1870\'s-80\'s timeframe. I purchased it with another figural clock from a very high end clock sale in upstate new York last year. Even though it needed a little I just liked the case a whole bunch and can\'t remember seeing another like it. I did have to find a proper french pendulum from parts drawer and cut two side pcs of white tile because they missing/broken. I The movement has the proper number.of strikes on the hour as well as a single on the halve hour and when I had it out was very low wear and has been running nice and strong since purchase last year and me rounding up pendulum and cutting side pcs. The clock has Arabic Numerals and the dial had an area that I filled with porcelain repair but doesn\'t look awful and I tried to pictured it. The clock is in excellent working condition and runs and strikes perfectly with a very pleasant french bell sound. It measures about 14\" in height and 11\' in width. The clock is a decorative collectible that would make a great addition to any collection. It was made in Paris area at a time CT and the French were making more clocks than I can count and has a great Victorian look. I go over all my clocks before shipping and make sure I didn\'t miss anything and try my best to pack well. Everything goes insured just in case and my items are returnable. Please respect that and it does take a bit of time, I\'ve been dealing clocks for over 30 years now, but boxes do occasionally get mishandled.
