You are offerding on an Voos Schlieper Brand Original Bowie Knife and Sheath made in SOLINGEN Germany, a city famous for producing high quality steel. The Blade is stamped with Original Bowie Knife. Stamping is fist holding three arrows on one side and 13138 Solingen Germany on the other side. Date ranges from 1954 to 1966. Please do your own research prior to offerding.

This is a highly sought after heavyweight hunting knife perfect for your collection or use. Rare in this wonderful near mint condition. This is the finest example I\'ve ever seen. You would have to time travel to find one like this. This will make an excellent gift or put it in your display case.

Condition:

Both knife and sheath are in excellent unused condition. The blade has obviously not been used or re-sharpened. The Bowie style blade has its original mirror finish and has never been sharpened or used. The pictures don\'t do it justice. Supersize the pictures for the best vies of the condition. There are a couple of small carbon spots and a few fine sheath marks as found on most vintage knifes. The Heavy Stag Handles are tight and feel good in the hand. The heavy sewn sheath is also in very good condition with some piping loss at the tip. The stitching is all there and the rivets are shiny with no rust. Snap works perfectly. The leather is soft and not cracked.
