Here is a pair of classic mid-century American diner ware mugs.
These stout heavy-gauge cups of commercial utility strength are made of glossy ceramic with a lovely caramel-brown glaze. Each stands 3 5/8\" tall with a 3\" rim. They have generous man-sized comfortablehandles extending 1 1/2\". Weighing 1 lb 2 oz each, with a 12-oz capacity to the brim, they can serve the morning joe or evening alcohol dessert brew.
Condition is good with only manufacturing flaws, one on the inside of one mug and an outer crumb on the other. See last photo.The backstamp underglaze reads \"DCC USA\". Thanks for looking.
