Offering this set of vintage remnants - sales samples for wall fabrics most likely from the 1960's from the Elenhank Design company that was located in the Chicago suburbs. The largest piece is the first shown titled Cumulus and measures 49 1/2" by 54 1/2". Its a Linen Rayon blend material. It has its descriptive original label attached. Also attached to the back of this piece are 2 separate remnants titled Birch Bark and Stratus each measuring 8 1/2 by 6" each of these also has a label stabled to it and both are blends as well each with different colors as shown. The second larger piece is titled Ebb Tide and measures 23" square. This piece is 100% linen and also has its original tag attached. All 4 remnant have sewn finished edges. The 2 largest pieces are signed on the edges as shown. Works by Elenhank are held in the collections of the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, Art Institute of Chicago, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. All are in excellent vintage condition with no damage, no odors and no stains. They have fold marks from being in storage for many years.These are wonderful examples of mid century modern design and exhibit the quality of material, design and production from a by gone era.
