"Parfum" doesn't allude to the gender that the fragrance was designed for—it only denotes the amount of essential oils that it has in it compared to other inert ingredients. (A PURE PARFUM/EXTRAIT/PARFUM has the highest concentration of essential oils in a small amount of carrier oils and diluents.) Pure Parfums tend to be much more expensive and precious than other versions.🌟🌟

Some of these items may have "Sample", "Free Sample" or "Not For sale" or similar, indicated on the box/bottle. This is to be expected of small sample bottles--particularly vintage ones. This warning doesn't apply here as these are being sold as COLLECTOR'S ITEMS.

In order to comply with federal transportation regulations pertaining to flammable liquids, fragrance containers are ALWAYS filled to less than 100% capacity by the manufacturer to allow for expansion. Some new and sealed bottles may be as little as 2/3 "full." This is normal and to be expected and is NOT a sign of prior use.

Bottles may be vacuum sealed, poly wrapped and/or carefully taped closed to prevent spillage in transit. If tape residue remains, please use a little rubbing alcohol to remove it, being careful not to remove lettering, etc.

A note on fragrances:

* Perfume, Extrait, Pure Parfum: It is the strongest fragrance available, consists of a 15-30% concentration of perfume essence. This means that not only do you need to use less, but also that the fragrance lasts longer, typically for up to 6 hours (or more), depending on skin type.

* Eau De Parfum (EDP): It is lighter than Perfume, with an 8-15% concentration, but still has long lasting characteristics, from 3 to 5 hours. It is less expensive than pure perfume.

* Eau De Toilette (EDT): It is lighter than EDP, with a 4-8% concentration of the essence. It usually lasts for 2 to 4 hours.

* Eau De Cologne (EDC): It is lighter than EDT, often referred to just as Cologne and has the greatest dilution of fragrances with a 3-5% concentration of perfume essence. It usually lasts for 2 hours.
