VINTAGE PRIMITIVE SPLINT WOVEN BUTTOCKS EGG BASKET - FLAWS- As is vintage condition - weavers are broken around much of the top rim, bottom is good condition
- Hand carved handle, spokes & top rim are made from solid wood - thick and beautiful
- Hand spit oak weavers
- Natural with a beautiful patina
- Measures about 15" across by 15" high and 12" wide - 15" across top opening
- Very very old
- This is an exceptional display basket with lots of character, not so much for use
- Even with all its defects, it's still sturdy and heavy
- Typical of the Apalacian mountain baskets
- Classic!
