The item is sold as is, as found, and as you see it. The crucifix features a metal Jesus that may be brass that is tarnished. He does not magnify as none of the other metal on crucifix does. The under plate on Jesus has tarnished spots and sectional dark spots that may be tarnish and sticky marks. There are square brass sheetings on four places, top and bottom and side ends. The top is an angel. The left side is a bowl or cow with wings. The right is a bird/eagle creature. The bottom is a winged lion. All are holding some kind of tablet or book that maybe says Sanct. The top angel maybe saying Motha evs. The cow Sanct Lukas. The eagle sanct Uhne Oans? and the lion Sanct Markus. It was hard to read, it is how they appear to be. The relief squares look almost nailed in with small tacks. Tarnished areas of dark spots. The lion with wings has corrosion near book's bottom. Could be surface wear on metal; hard to tell with the tarnish. Wood looks old. Backside has shiny type scratches, water staining especially on right side like drip stains on horizontal ends. Sticker patch on bottom. Imprinted on wood under sticker, maybe made n Germany. Old metal tarnish hanging hook at top. The wood is unfinished. Wear spots, paint drips on right side bottom, some back wood on back is worn off due to age. white paint scuff on right top side, chip in wood on the backside near hook. Dirt in crevices, can be areas of dark staining in wood. See all pics for they are part of description. May have other issues not mentioned but mentioned most significant.
