This GORGEOUS cotton 1840's red and white stars quilt is all hand pieced and hand quilted, with a double sawtooth / "tree everlasting" border.It measures 76" X 84" and is good condition, with the occasional light spot and no wear.
The hand quilting is exceptional, with quilting around the piecework and in close grid and straight line designs in the background, all at an even 10-12 stitches to the inch.
The back and hand stitched binding are white and the batting is thin.
