WWI Era US ArmyM1909 Leather Belt Holsterfor M1917 .45 cal. Revolver - Marked: G&K 1917 - NICE Condition

Up for sale is a WWI Era US ArmyM1909 Leather Belt Holster for the M1917 .45 cal Revolver. This holster is nicely marked: G&K 1917 on the rear. It isused, see photo\'s forCondition. The leather is still soft and supple. All seams are intact, no fraying. Some minor surface cracks and crazing on the top of the fold of the flap, see photo. The leatherhas darkened with age, but still retains most of the rich dark brown color. The US marking on the front is faint, but readable. The end plug is still present with the brass ring. This holster was originally designed to be a \"ButtForward\" carry design. It is NOT aleft hand holster.
