c.1860 California Bowie Knife by Tiffany Broadway, New York USA.
This rare bowie knife features a interesting scalloped bone handle,silver plated ferrule and silver pommel, and white brass cross guard.The clipped point blade is highly decorated including the motto:I Can Dig Gold from Quartz
Other designs are inspired by the 1849 California Gold Rush.
We have included a leather scabbard that was found later,and it is free with the Bowie Knife.
Condition:In good age related condition, if blade was cleaned,you could read easily the etching, the slight bend to the handle is caused by warpage over time, no cracks.Old scabbard was found later and is included free with the Bowie Knife.
