Up for sale is a pre-WWI Era French Army Mle 1886 Lebel Rifle Bayonet with Scabbard. The serial numbers on the blade and scabbard do not match. The blade bright, it has some minor finish wear and some small areas of discoloration. This is the original long blade. The white metal handles are in very nice condition, some minor scratches and handling marks. It has the later design flat release button. The release button functions properly. The scabbard is in Very Nice Condition. Blue finish with only very minor wear. No rust or pitting, no dings or dents. Very minor bend at the end of the scabbard. Just normal handling and storage marks. Please see photos for condition and details.

Thiswould make a welcomed additionto any pre-WWI French Army Collection.
