for sale is a vintage Pair of solid Brass Anvil Bookend halves. The bookends are 4 1/2\'\' tall. Their base measures 4 3/4\'\' long. The top of the anvil measures 5 7/8\'\' long. The total weight of the anvil halves is 9 pounds .06 ounces. Each half weighs 4 pounds 7.6 ounces and 4 pounds 8.8 ounces. ( see last 3 pictures) The anvil bookends are unbranded, and my suspicion, it is was a industrial arts project in High school or a trade school in the 1950\'s or 1960\'s.
