1948 Cunard White Star Lines Silver Plated Ice Bucket From QE or QM - RARE:
$599.00

This amazing silver plated ice bucket was made by Elkington & Co. in England in 1948.

It bears the hallmark of Elkington as well as the Cunard White Star (of Titanic infamy) logo. The date letter M dates it to 1948.

The bucket measures 5” across the top, 4 3/16” across the base, and 6 5/8” tall at the handles.

It is is good condition given. that it is 75 years old. It could probably use a good polishing. It is missing the ice strainer from the bottom, unfortunately.

This ice bucket would have been in a first class cabin.

In 1948 Cunard only had 2 ships offering first class accommodations. The Queen Mary and the Queen Elizabeth, so this was used on one of those ships.

This is an ULTRA RARE piece of White Star history…one which you will probably never see again.
