Antique Divided Back COMIC Postcard PC Circa 1907-1915. This card is ARTIST SIGNED by E. WEAVER. Card is unposted with a message written in pencil and no stamp. Features a FEMALE OPERA SINGER dressed in what looks like the FLAPPER style of dress (although 1915 would be somewhat early for this). Has a CLEVER VERSE at the bottom. Could possibly pass as a ROMANCE card or VALENTINE depending on how you look at it. In good condition according to the Postcard Rating System with mild corner wear (the upper right is a bit more pronounced) and some mild discoloration (more so on the top part of the card). There is the faint remnant of a red, rectangular block at the bottom. Not sure if this was intentional (perhaps something was written in it) or a printing error. Otherwise, I see no evidence of edge wear, rips, tears, creases, bends, or pinholes. But, please see photos and you be the judge. Standard size 5.5” x 3.5”.
