Antique Divided Back RARE Postcard Dated 1912 - A BIZARRE HOLIDAY THANKSGIVING FANTASY ILLUSTRATION of a MAN\'S FACE MORPHED WITH A TURKEY\'S FACE AS THE \"THING\" PEERS OUT CREEPILY FROM A CUT-OUT PUMPKIN. IT\'S ALMOST A COMBINATION THANKSGIVING HALLOWEEN POSTCARD DUE TO THE MORoffer AND DISTURBING IMAGRY. FROM WHAT I CAN MAKE OUT - IT APPEARS THAT THE EYE AND LIPS ARE OF A HUMAN (MAN) AND THE REST OF THE HEAD BELONG TO A TURKEY. TRULY A ONE-OF-A-KIND POSTCARD OF THE MOST BIZARRE KIND THAT YOU ARE GOING TO FIND. IF YOU LIKE THE BIZARRE AND MACABRE - THIS CARD IS FOR YOU!!! Card is EMBOSSED and has GOLD GILDING AROUND THE BORDER AND IN THE EMBELLISHED CORNERS. Card is unposted, but has the sender and sendee\'s names written in pencil. In good condition according to the postcard rating system with corner/edge wear as well as surface creases in various places across the card. Otherwise, I see no evidence of rips, tears, bends, discoloration, or pinholes. Pretty amazing for a piece of paper that’s OVER ONE HUNDRED YEARS OLD!! But, please see photo and you be the judge.
