Up for sale is a beautiful original WW2 era Named Royal Navy captains Fore and Aft cap with epaulettes and dress belt in its original japaned tin box. The overall condition of the set is excellent with all pieces showing light age, the tin bar shows a few dings and wear to the finish, the set was made by Gieves Ltd of London and Edinburgh, the set is named to Admiral Sir Henry McCall (1895-1953) during ww2 he was a captain which is what this set is for, post war he was promoted to Admiral before retirement and was knighted on 15 July 1953. This is a rare named set and will make a beautiful addition to any Royal Navy collection and display. If you have any questions please email me and I will respond promptly.
